About Me

My Story

I am a registered dietitian/nutritionist (RDN) credentialed though the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). I spent 16  years working in hospitals and outpatient clinics and the last 8 years in Private Practice

I have a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University in Food Science and Human Nutrition and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The State University at New Paltz in New York. I completed my internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard teaching school in Boston, in 2001.

For over two decades, I have worked with thousands of patients and families providing individualized counseling for acute and chronic medical conditions. I have also participated in corporate wellness seminars and taught multiple weight management programs. Currently I provide group and individual cardiac rehabilitation education at our local hospital here in Longmont Colorado.  I am also working solely with weight management and cardiac patients in my private practice as of Summer 2024.

*My philosophy on eating and wellness centers around a non-diet approach which takes into consideration sleep patterns, stress management and activity preferences. We cannot look to improve our health through just one lens. Lasting changes will emerge through a multifaceted, personalized plan that is right for you!

When Im not working with clients, I love to practice yoga, hike, walk with my 2 sweet rescue pups and have dinner and movie nights with my husband and teenage daughter.

Please contact me if you are ready to make a change, I’m looking forward to working with you!
